Our Wine Shop
After 10 years of anticipation, in 2017 we finally moved into a new larger wine shop above the production cellar. Just 70 metres north of the former wine shop, the entrance gate opens up to a short ride through the Sauvignon Blanc block to a parking lot nestled between the vines and the winery. Wind down the steps and enjoy a panoramic view of the whole property and experience exactly where the 'hollow' in Stag's Hollow comes from. The wineshop offers not only a larger tasting area but a beautifully appointed private room for special tastings. A large picture window behind the tasting bar treats guests to a a lovely view over the hollow as they taste through our wines.
We are ready to welcome travellers from across Canada. We require masks in indoor spaces for those who haven’t been fully vaccinated and we are following or exceeding all provincial requirements. We’re slowly returning to pre-pandemic service levels and addressing capacity challenges as we move forward together.
Tasting Options (April - October only)
We have implemented a new online reservations system for our tastings this year. Walk-ins for tastings will be accepted based on table availability and staffing levels. Please arrive on time for your booking - we do not have much space to allow early arrivals. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be lost and filled by waiting guests. Late arrival will also cut into your tasting time!
Our wine tasting experiences can be booked for up to 6 people. All tastings will be conducted outdoors, so please dress accordingly. Flights of 4 wines (selected as a group from the daily wines available) are pre-poured in carafes and placed on your table on the deck, overlooking the vineyard. You will be invited up to your table when it is ready for you. The guided tasting experience runs approximately 30 minutes. Our last appointment of the day is at 4:20pm.
The tasting fee of $10 per person is waived on the purchase of 2 bottles per person. Tasting fees are waived for Wine Club Members and up to 5 guests. Please note that we donate all tastings to SORCO Raptor Rehab, located a few kilometres south of the winery near Vaseux Lake.
