Tasting Notes
Dark ruby red / purple in color with aromas of ripe Bing cherries, spicy Italian plums, and notes of coffee oak. Great structure and balance with flavors of dark cherries, blackberries and a touch of sweet red licorice candy that lead into fine grainy tannins and finishes with a lingering bitter chocolate note.
Food Pairings
Serve with a big meaty meal such as lamb or beef.
Aging Potential
This wine will be drinking at its best after 3-5 years of careful cellar time.
